I’m Chris Nicola. I am a programmer by trade who specializes in backend development. I’m currently working as a consulant for Devoteam GmbH and specialise in cloud-native technology; previously I was working on multiple distributed systems at EVANA AG and enjoy building my own in my spare time. My current research interests include distributed systems, system-level programming and programming languages in general. Game programming is also very interesting to me. Since I also have a background in systems administration I’ll also occasionally write about that as well.
